Hello my lovely,
I’m back from all my holidaying, the lovely Holly nominated me a while back to do the ‘Self Love’ tag and at the time I struggled with a lot of the questions but recently I have been a lot kinder to myself.
What is something that is getting you down at the moment?
This is strangely a hard question for me as I try not dwell on negatives. I feel like my indecisiveness gets me down a lot as I struggle to make choices for myself as I never really trust my own opinion. It can be hard for me to make simple decisions as I really overthink every possible outcome but big decisions like what I want to do in the future just leaves me at a crossroad. On the upside, most decisions I make are carefully planned out in my mind so I would say it make me more caring and understanding as I see multiple sides to other peoples decisions too.
What is something that makes you happy?
My family, friends and all the cuddly pets in my life!
Name 3 guilty pleasures.
Binging on a good Sci-Fi Netflix/Amazon Prime series
My popcorn addiction
Napping all day.
What is something about yourself that you want to improve on?
I feel like there’s room for improvement on most things. I could talk forever about things I want to improve about myself physically, but I would mainly like to improve my mental health – to be more positive and confident and maybe a little less untidy!
When was the last time you belly laughed?
I laugh way too much. In fact other people actually comment on how I laugh at most things so this question is difficult. I feel like most people can have me in tears but my mum and gran never fail to have me dying of laughter whenever I’m around them.
What is your biggest insecurity/fear?
100% my two biggest fears are letting my family down and not being good enough for anyone.
Name a song that cheers you up when you’re down.
‘Dancin’ in the moonlight
Everybody’s feelin’ warm and bright
It’s such a fine and natural sight
Everybody’s dancin’ in the moonlight’
(If you didn’t sing that in your mind or out loud, I’m disappointed.)
Name 3 things you like about yourself.
I’m very honest and forgiving,
I respect everyone equally
I MAKE GREAT MACARONI.
What is an achievement that has made you proud of yourself this year?
To be honest just being here is a huge achievement, I never thought I’d make it to 18 and next week I’m 20 and I’m just so proud that despite all the lows I made it this far and its motivation to keep going and to help others who are held back by their mental health.
Tell us your happiest memory.
I have so many happy memories I feel like I have one for each person in my life but that would take a while. A slight recent one is that in the past 2 years me and my gran have gotten close and we didn’t use to be that close; just like someone I would see every so often. Lately we do a lot together and she has become like one of my best friends, I love gossiping with her or painting or going on our cute lunches where we usually end up getting the same thing! She’s the only person I know who is so interested in my day and knows all the characters in my life. Its also nice to make her happy as she always says how much she appreciates how close we are as many people aren’t that close to their grandchildren. So spend time with your elders, they are pretty cool.
Until next time,
